Description
A comparative radiology study involves the radiologist analyzing and interpreting an imaging study, such as a CT scan, or MRI, by directly comparing it with a previous similar study of the same patient. (e.g. 2020 MRI Brain study compared to a 2025 MRI Brain study.) This approach is often utilized for a variety of clinical reasons, enabling physicians to assess changes in a patient’s condition over time, monitor the progression or resolution of diseases, evaluate treatment efficacy, or identify new abnormalities.
Both studies must have a report completed by Spine and Brain Advocate’s radiology team in order for the comparison study report to be analyzed and written. Price is per neutral study and may increase based on the complexity of the study being compared.
