Expert 2nd Radiology Opinions
Expert 2nd Radiology opinions are the most effective way to decrease medical error rates and manage a complex disease such as CCJ disorders. Our Consultant Radiologists are highly versed in craniocervical, spine and brain disorders and produce detailed reports, including all the key, universally accepted measurements of the craniocervical junction.
How 2nd Radiology Opinion Services Work
We know how important it is to have a thorough and accurate Medical Report to save time and get the right treatment plan. You will be asked to provide as much information and any relevant, previous imaging studies and physician reports so that they can thoroughly review your case before assessing your imaging and producing a 2nd Opinion Radiology Report. Before your Report is sent to you, another Radiologist reviews and signs off on the report. If there is a difference of opinion between the two Radiologists, a third Radiologist is brought into the review at no extra charge.
Upon your order, Spine and Brain Advocate will act on your behalf to obtain a Radiology Opinion on your medical images. The Radiologist(s), who have been trained in the UK, USA, India and/or Australia have carefully reviewed the imaging and Patient Clinical History that you submit to Spine and Brain Advocate.
Your radiology report is solely a written communication between the radiologist interpreting your imaging study and your physician. Because reports are written for medical professionals only, they often contain complex anatomical and medical terms that can be misinterpreted by patients and non-medical professionals. For this reason, please discuss all reports with your medical professional to avoid misinterpretation. Spine and Brain Advocate and the Consultant Radiologist are not permitted to provide you with medical advice pertaining to your imaging records. Having access to your radiology report is a powerful tool and reports are an important part of your health record. However, this access should never replace advice from your physician who understands your specific medical history and is trained to understand your radiology report.
