DIGITAL MOTION XRAY (DMX) or DYNAMIC DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY (DDR) 2nd Radiology Opinion
Before purchasing a DMX/DDR 2nd Radiology Opinion, please make sure DDR XRay files are in DICOM (.dcm) or DMX is in MP4 format or DICOM file format
Important note regarding DMX:
DMX is typically in video format and measurements such as craniocervical or stenosis cannot be performed in video nor .JPEG format.
However, you can ask the DMX provider if DICOM images can be obtained from their software (some older machines permit this, however the manufacturer has informed us the newer versions do not provide DICOM images). Even with a DMX MP4 video, a professional radiology opinion, commentary and Report can be provided by the Radiologist, but not any measurements.
